Arrows Style, Phone / Calculator the same

Portrait Mode: Normal
T9 Next Key: Enabled
Show Preview Popup: Enabled
Enable Arrow Keypad: Enabled
Arrows Style: Numeric (phone) and Numeric (calculator) look the same on my device
Show Alt Labels: Enabled
Alt Symbols: Enabled
All other checkboxes in settings disabled.

Droid X Android 2.2.1 Verizon Wireless

Keypad test was done in the Android default text messaging application by selecting the text input field where you select who the text message is addressed to when sending a new text message. Let me know if you need any other details, things to do and capture logcat, etc.

So, you trigger the keypad with 123 then <>, and you don't see a difference between the two layouts?
The only difference should be that 1,2,3 and 7,8,9 rows are inverted; what do you see?
