Cant find skin directory :x

i am unable to find the skin directory in which to put my newly developed skin, im not sure why i cant find it, ive used astro file manager on my phone and checked the sd card as well... can someone please tell me where to put my skin to get smart-keyboard to pick it up?
also do i put the zip in there or do i extract it in there?

You need to create it at the root of your sd card, and you must call it "skins", not "skin"
And don't extract the zip, you just copy it
